In the beginning
Back in 2005, partners Gary Freeman & Rose Roadnight decided to join forces from two very different professional backgrounds – Rose with 15 years experience managing Leonards salon in Northampton, and Gary with several years in product marketing. The plan was fairly straightforward – open a hair salon where the over-riding priority is customer service. The next few months were spent searching for the ideal location, exploring many opportunities before arriving in Bicester, with the first Freeman Hair Studio opening its doors on July 4th 2006. We were lucky enough to retain a loyal and supportive team of hair stylists who are still with us today, having continued to expand their hairdressing skills.

The next chapter
Fast-forward three years and the opportunity arose to purchase Leonards, the salon formerly managed by Rose in Northampton, as the previous owner and his family had decided to move to Spain. The second Freeman Hair Studio began life on June 5th 2009. Once again, we were fortunate enough to retain a loyal team of stylists who are now enjoying expanding their professional hairdressing skills.

Customer service
The will to consistently provide outstanding service to clients is nothing new, every business claims to do it, but how many truly deliver on that promise? The reason being that there isn’t one specific element that can be easily identified; it’s the whole experience from the client walking in the door through to their leaving. From being greeted on arrival, to the offer of a drink while waiting, through to a professional consultation with your stylist, and so on. Above all it’s about having the right team of people to make it happen.
